this pendant was a total experiment, i heard of a technique called "cast in place" i had a nice .88ct diamond hanging around so i gave it a shot to achieve this you must use the sandcasting technique to create the mold and then place a stone within the mold. when the molten metal is poured the stone is held in place extremely tightly once it cools, giving it and extremely natural look compared to conventional prong setting.
this pendant is crafted of solid 14k yellow gold which is 58.5% pure 24k gold. weighs 5.5 grams, the width of the pendant and the largest point is 14.5mm a perfect size and style for someone looking for something subtle. the diamond is a vvs1 f color lab stone approximately 0.9 carats.
